CREAM CURD SURPRISE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the curd and cream and beat it well. Add in the finely chopped tomato, capsicum, carrot and cucumber.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper and mustard powder.
  • Toast the slices and butter lightly. Spread filling on buttered side of the slices.
  • Cover with remaining toasts. Press together firmly. Cut and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 slices bread - toasted and buttered lightly
  • 100 ml thick curd of full cream milk - hung for about 10 - 12 minutes in a muslin cloth
  • 2 tablespoon fresh cream or fresh malai (well beaten)
  • 1 small tomato - pulp removed and very finely chopped
  • ½ small capsicum - very finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoon grated carrot
  • 3 tablespoon finely chopped cucumber
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mustard powder to taste
