Preparation Method :
- Combine golden syrup, butter and sugar in small pan, stir over heat until butter is melted; stand until warm.
- Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Drop rounded teaspoons of mixture on greased oven trays.
- Allow 3 - 4 per tray and bake in moderate oven about 5 - 7 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on tray about 1 minute.
- Lift the snaps from tray using spatula and roll snaps immediately around handle of wooden spoon; leave to set.
- Fill with whipped cream just before serving.

- 50 grams plain flour
- 50 ml golden syrup
- 100 grams butter, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
