SWEETY BRANDY SNAPS

Makes :

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Combine golden syrup, butter and sugar in small pan, stir over heat until butter is melted; stand until warm.
  • Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Drop rounded teaspoons of mixture on greased oven trays.
  • Allow 3 - 4 per tray and bake in moderate oven about 5 - 7 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on tray about 1 minute.
  • Lift the snaps from tray using spatula and roll snaps immediately around handle of wooden spoon; leave to set.
  • Fill with whipped cream just before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 75 grams brown sugar
  • 50 grams plain flour
  • 50 ml golden syrup
  • 100 grams butter, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
