Preparation Method :
- Sift dry ingredients into medium bowl, rub in butter. Stir in nuts, rind and yolk, mix to a firm dough, knead gently until smooth.
- Roll dough between sheets of baking paper. Cut and shape rounds, place on greased oven trays.
- Bake in moderate oven about 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.
- Dip half of each cookie in combined chocolate and oil. Leave to set on wire racks.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 grams dark chocolate, melted
- 150 grams butter, chopped
- 150 grams ground hazelnuts
- 125 grams plain flour
- 150 grams icing sugar mixture
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
