Preparation Method :
- Beat butter, essence and sugar in small bowl until smooth, add eggs and beat until combined.
- Stir in the sifted flour and soda, milk, nuts, dates and cherries.
- Drop level tablespoons of mixture into Corn Flakes; toss lightly, place on greased oven trays, flatten slightly.
- Bake in moderate oven about 15 - 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams self-raising flour
- 175 grams Corn Flakes
- 175 grams butter
- 150 grams castor sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 75 grams chopped walnuts
- 110 grams chopped dates
- 50 grams chopped glace cherries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
