CHOCOLATE COCONUT SLICES

Preparation Method :

  • Icing: Sift icing sugar and 1 tablespoon cocoa into bowl, stir in butter and enough milk to make spreadable.
  • Combine butter, sugar, coconut, egg, sifted flours and cocoa in medium bowl; mix well.
  • Press mixture evenly over base of greased rectangular slice pan. Bake in moderate oven for about 20 minutes or until firm.
  • Spread hot slice evenly with icing, sprinkle with extra coconut. Cool in pan.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams butter, melted
  • 100 grams firmly packed brown sugar
  • 120 grams shredded coconut
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 75 grams plain flour
  • 75 grams self-raising flour
  • 150 grams icing sugar mixture
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon soft butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
