CHICKPEA AND CORIANDER BURGERS

Preparation Method :

  • Whizz boiled and drained chickpeas, lemon zest, juiced lemon, cumin powder, a bunch of coriander, egg and some seasoning in a food processor.
  • Mix with breadcrumbs and diced red onion.
  • Form patties, press more breadcrumbs on and chill for 10 minutes. Heat oil and fry for 4 minutes on each side. Slice 4 burger buns.
  • Fill each with mayonnaise, a slice of tomato, a patty, a few slices of red onion and cucumber, a dollop of Sriracha sauce and chopped coriander.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams boiled and drained chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 juiced lemon
  • 2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • A bunch of coriander
  • 2 beaten egg
  • 150 grams breadcrumbs
  • 1 diced red onion
  • 5 burger buns
  • 2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • A slice of tomato
  • A patty
  • A few slices of red onion and cucumber
  • Sriracha sauce
  • Chopped coriander
