Preparation Method :
- Warm the milk. Add the sugar and yeast to it. Keep aside for 10 minutes till frothy.
- Mix the flour, salt and spices. Rub in the butter.
- Add the flour mixture with the warm milk , sugar and yeast, knead well to form a dough. Cover with a wet towel for about 45 minutes or until it doubles in size.
- Add the dried fruits and knead lightly. Make bun shapes, flatten the tops and make cross marks. Leave them in a warm place till they increase in size, around 20 - 25 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes or until done.
- Glaze with sugar syrup while still warm.

- 2 tablespoon fresh yeast
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 500 grams flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter / margarine
