VIENNESE SHORTBREAD BISCUITS

Preparation Method :

  • Beat butter, essence and sugar in small bowl until smooth, add sifted flours; beat only until combined.
  • Spoon mixture into piping bag fitted with a medium fluted tube. Pipe shapes on greased oven trays.
  • Bake in moderate oven about 10 - 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.
  • Dip ends of biscuits in combined chocolate and oil; leave to set on wire racks.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 50 grams caster sugar
  • 250 grams plain flour
  • 25 grams rice flour
  • 350 grams dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
