MAIDSTONE BISCUIT

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cream the butter and sugar together until pale an fluffy. Fold in the flour, rose water and almonds, and mix to make a stiff dough.
  • Place in small heaps on a floured baking sheet. Bake at 180°C (350°F) mark 4 for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams butter
  • 100 grams caster sugar
  • 150 grams plain flour
  • 5 ml rose water
  • 50 grams blanched almonds, chopped
