ALMOND BISCUITS

Makes :
25 Pieces

Preparation Time :

Preparation Method :

  • Beat egg white in small bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form, add honey and essence, beat until combined. Stir in ground nuts and caster sugar.
  • Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls, roll in sifted icing sugar, place on greased oven trays, press firmly with fingers to flatten; top with flaked almonds.
  • Bake in moderately slow oven about 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on trays.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg white
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • Few drops almond essence
  • 200 grams packaged ground almonds
  • 150 grams caster sugar
  • 50 grams icing sugar mixture
  • 2 tablespoon flaked almonds
