SPICY FISH BAKED

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder and keep aside for an hour.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the ground masala paste for a while. Add the onions, tomato puree, salt and cook for a minute or two. Remove from heat and leave to cool.
  • Apply the cooked masala to the fish pieces and arrange them in an oven-proof dish greased with oil.
  • Sprinkle with green chillies and bake for about 20 minutes in a moderately hot oven.
  • Serve garnished with coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Fish fillets cleaned, cut into medium pieces, washed and drained 
  • 150 grams Onions
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato puree 
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder 
  • 6 sliced Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves chopped to garnish

Grind to a fine paste

  • 1 tablespoon Yellow mustard seeds 
  • 2 tablespoon desiccated Coconut
  • 8-10 Dry red chillies
