POTATO CAKES WITH CORIANDER AND CUMIN

Preparation Method :
- Place potatoes and onion between sheets of absorbent paper, press paper to remove as much moisture as possible.
- Combine potatoes, onion, cornmeal, cumin, coriander and egg yolk in bowl; mix well.
- Heat oil in pan, drop level tablespoons of mixture into pan, flatten into rounds, shallow-fry on both sides until golden brown; drain on absorbent paper.

- 500 grams old potatoes, peeled, grated
- 100 grams onion, grated
- 50 grams cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 egg yolk
- Peanut oil for shallow-frying
