BAKED CUTLETS IN GRAVY

Baked Cutlets in Gravy is an irresistible recipe that you will surely prepare every day. This comes with its creative and delicate appetizer style with high class and delectable taste. This recipe can be prepared during your lunch or dinner time.

Preparation Method :

  • Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt. Divide into 6 equal portions. Give any shape of your choice.
  • Make a batter of refined flour and water. Dip the cutlets in the batter and roll into the breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat oil in a small frying pan. Deep-fry the cutlets 2 at a time till they turn crisp. Transfer to a kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
  • Chop the tomatoes and cook in a small pressure cooker over high heat in water till 1 whistle.
  • After the tomatoes cool down, take out the soup by passing the tomatoes through a sieve.
  • Add red chili powder, tomato sauce and a little salt to the soup and boil for 15 minutes.
  • Arrange the cutlets in a baking dish. Pour the tomato gravy over it. Garnish with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 450 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

  • 8 large potatoes
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 4 chopped green chilies
  • 250 grams chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 400 grams refined flour
  • Water
  • 400 grams bread crumbs
  • 400 ml peanut oil
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoon red chili powder 
  • 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 200 grams grated cheese
