CHICKEN PUDDING PIE

Indulge yourself to gluttony or whatsoever as Chicken Pudding Pie is truly delectable! You can concentrate on preparing its so many ingredients. There’s no way you won’t enjoy its yummy taste. Bring it on to your family as your new recipe for the week!

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
50 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix dry flour with the margarine until it looks like bread crumbs. Add salt and enough water to form rough dough. Keep aside.
  • Mix all the ingredients for the filling and cook till dry.
  • Take 2/3 of the pastry and roll out to the size of the baking dish.
  • Press all round.
  • Fill the pastry with the stuffing.
  • Roll out the remaining 1/3 pastry and cover the stuffing to fit the edge of the dish.
  • Press properly with the thumb to form a design.
  • Make three slits on the top for the steam to escape.
  • Bake till the pastry is cooked. 

INGREDIENTS

For the pastry

  • ½ kg flour
  • Salt
  • 150 grams pieces of ham

For the filling

  • 1½ kg chicken cut with out bones
  • Chopped parsley leaves
  • Pepper and salt to taste
