BAKED SHERRIED CHICKEN

The baked sherried chicken is filled with perfect ingredients! Every piece of chicken is extremely irresistible and you can always have in your daily meal this within 15 minutes. Along with its flavored seasonings, you will surely amaze how this chicken recipe created.

40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the chicken in a bowl and pour over the sherry, soy sauce, mustard, ginger and sugar.
  • Turn the chicken until coated with the marinade. Cover and leave for 2 hours, turning the pieces occasionally.
  • Place the chicken in a small ovenproof dish and pour over the marinade, then the melted butter.
  • Cook in a preheated moderately hot oven (190°C/375°F, Gas Mark 5), basting frequently with the pan juices, for about 30 minutes or until the juice runs clear when a fine skewer is inserted in the thickest part of the chicken.
  • Serve with sauté potatoes and broccoli.   

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 small chicken pieces
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry 
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard 
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sugar 
  • 100 grams butter, melted
