CABRALES WITH HONEY AND WALNUTS

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Lightly toasts the bread on both sides and drizzle with the oil.
  • Discard any rind from the Cabrales and roughly crumble the cheese over the bread.
  • Scatter with the walnuts. Transfer to a serving plate, drizzle with the honey.
  • Sprinkle with paprika, if liked variation Pecans, almonds or hazelnuts can be used instead of the walnuts.

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 thin slices of rustic crusty bread
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 150 grams Cabrales cheese
  • 50 grams roughly chopped walnuts, lightly toasted
  • 4 tablespoons clear honey
  • Mild sweet paprika, to sprinkle (optional)
