SPICE-DUSTED PRAWNS

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel the prawns if necessary. You might like to leave on the tail shells so they can be used to hold the prawns for dipping.
  • Mix together the spices and celery salt and use the mixture to dust the prawns.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently fry the prawns for about 5 minutes, turning them when they're pink on the undersides.
  • Pile into little dishes and serve with aioli.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams raw, headless prawns
  • 1 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoons hot paprika
  • 1 teaspoons celery salt
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • Aioli, to serve
