PRAWNS WITH WHOLE CHILIES AND GARLIC

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel the prawns, leaving the tails intact. Cut the garlic cloves in half.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently heat the garlic cloves and chilies for a couple of minutes to flavor the oil.
  • Add the prawns and cook gently, turning once, until they have just turned pink.
  • Avoid overcooking or they will start to toughen.
  • Transfer the prawns to small serving dishes and spoon over the oil, making sure that each dish contains a chilli and a garlic clove.
  • Serve sprinkled with salt.       

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams small whole raw prawns
  • 10 garlic cloves
  • 200 ml Cooking oil
  • 10 whole dried red chillies
  • Salt
