Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Break the bread into small pieces and put in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the chopped onions, spring onions, lettuce, parsley, cucumber, tomatoes and mint.
  • Mix well, then leave the bread to absorb the juices, about 15 minutes.
  • Now make a dressing with the lemon juice, olive oil and garlic.
  • Season it with salt and black pepper and pour over the salad mixture.
  • Toss well and chill before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 stale pita bread
  • 250 grams coarsely chopped onion
  • 4 spring onions, coarsely chopped (optional)
  • 1 round lettuce, shredded
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 1 coarsely chopped medium cucumber
  • 4 coarsely chopped medium tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon dried mint
  • Juice of 2 large lemons
  • 6 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
