CHICKEN BURRITO

Preparation Method :

  • Sour Cream: Beat cream till stiff. Beat hung curd till smooth. Add to the cream. Stir in salt and lemon juice.
  • Filling: Marinate the chicken with Worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and chilli paste and salt for 20 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic sauté for a minute and add the chicken, cook on high heat for 5 minutes. Reduce heat. Cover and cook till chicken is tender.
  • Then add in the capsicum and spring onion. Stir. Remove from heat.
  • Mix maida, cornflour, potato, oil and salt. Add just enough water and knead to a soft dough. Cover and keep it aside.
  • Roll out thin chappati and Cook on a hot griddle on both sides . Keep them warm in a casserole.
  • While Serving heat 1 tablespoon oil on a griddle and Fry the cooked chappati. Remove from heat.
  • Spread hot chicken filling at one end and 1 tablespoon of sour cream over the filling.
  • Roll the chappati and Serve hot with sour cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams corn flour
  • 250 grams maida 
  • 1 large potato - boiled and grated
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 6 garlics flakes - chopped 
  • 2 spring onions - chopped diagonally, 
  • 1 capsicum - deseeded and sliced
  • 500 grams boneless chicken - cut into thin long strips
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce 
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar 
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes or red chilli paste 
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 200 grams cream , 
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 125 grams hung curd
  • Salt to taste
