TRADITIONAL HOT CHOCOLATE

Makes :
2 Liters

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place cinnamon stick, vanilla bean and milk in a saucepan over a high heat and heat until milk boil. Remove cinnamon stick and vanilla bean.
  • Add chocolate and whisk until the chocolate melts and milk is frothy. Add sugar to taste, then pour into cups and serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ litres milk  
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
  • 150 grams Mexican chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
