SALT GRILLED MACKEREL

Preparation Method :

  • Rinse the mackerel, dap dry.
  • Mix lemon juice with salt and stir until the salt content is completely dissolved and pour the mixture over the mackerel fillet.
  • Evenly apply and leave marinated for 15 minutes.
  • Add butter to the grilling pan set over medium heat.
  • After completely melted, grill the mackerel until the bottom side is brown, then flip over and grill until ready, with both sides fully cooked.
  • Place the grilled mackerel onto a serving plate and garnish with grated daikon, shredded cauliflower, and pickled ginger on the side.
  • Serve and Dip with shoyu sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 fillet mackerel (may be substituted or sea bass or saba)
  • 1 teaspoon ground salt
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 25 grams salted butter
  • Grated daikon
  • Shredded cauliflower
  • Pickled ginger (for garnishing)
  • Shoyu sauce (for dipping)
