HIYAYAKKO (CHILLED FRESH TOFU)

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the cut tofu in a serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle the grated ginger and green onion on the top of the tofu.
  • Pour the soya sauce on top of the tofu.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle the bonito shavings.
  • Serve it immediately.  

INGREDIENTS

  • 225 grams silk strained tofu (chilled, drained and cut into halved)
  • 1 stalk green onion (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger (grated) 
  • 4 teaspoon Bonito shavings (skipjack mackerel fillets shaved into delicate flakes)
