GRILLED SALMON WITH SOY SAUCE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix shoyu sauce, brown sugar, sake, dried bonito fish stock, and ripe ginger into a pot and set over low heat.
  • Stir until sugar content is completely dissolved and simmer until boiled, then remove from heat.
  • Sprinkle ground pepper on the salmon, evenly spread and leave for 10 minutes.
  • Set grilling pan over medium heat until hot, then add oil.
  • Once completely melted, grill the salmon fillet in the pan until the bottom side turns brown, then flip over and cook until ready, with both sides lightly seared.
  • Remove and place on a plate. Pour over the prepared soy sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 piece salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 25 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • Soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoon shoyu sauce
  • 5 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 5 pieces ginger, each cut into 1-inch piece
  • 5 tablespoon sake
  • 5 tablespoon dried bonito fish stock
