SALMON RICE SOUP

Another popular Asian Fish Soup is the Salmon Rice Soup. Here you find a perfect combination between light, filling, tasty and healthy. Easily prepared, you can present a fabulous dish that will comfort each one of your guests.

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Take a pan and heat up the Butter over Medium Heat. Melt the Butter and spread it over entire pan.
  • Then put the Salmon in it and roast it until the bottom side is cooked, then flip it and cook the other side. Once it's cooked, take it off the hot pan and put it on a plate.
  • In another pan, boil the Dried Bonito Fish Stock and the Hondashi with Fresh Water. Add the Salt and the Mirin, then stir it well to blend the whole mixture.
  • Now bring the content to boil again and then turn off the heat.
  • Now take the Rice, put it into a large bowl or plate and place the Salmon over the Rice.
  • Now over the Rice and Salmon, pour the soup and garnish it with the Japanese Green Onions. If you prefer a more spicy taste, add Wasabi to it. The dish is ready.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams of Cooked Japanese Rice
  • 4 Pieces of Boneless Salmon Meat
  • 800 ml of Dried Bonito Fish Stock
  • 400 ml of Fresh Water
  • 100 grams of Shredded Japanese Green Onions
  • 20 Grams Salted Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons of Hondashi
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mirin
  • 2 Teaspoons of Wasabi
  • Ground Salt
