MISO SOUP

Preparation Method :

  • Pour dried bonito fish stock and fresh water into a pot, bring to a boil then add hondashi and mirin.
  • Stir to dissolve, followed by carrots and white tofu. Simmer over medium heat until boiled.
  • Add warm water enough to dissolve miso paste, stir until completely dissolved and pour the mixture into the soup pot.
  • Stir to blend thoroughly the contents together and bring to a boil once more.
  • Sprinkle the shredded green onions and transfer the finished soup to serving cups.
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams miso paste
  • 200 grams dried bonito stock
  • 300 ml fresh water
  • 2 tablespoon hondashi
  • 4 tablespoon mirin
  • 100 grams diced carrots
  • 100 grams diced white tofu
  • 100 grams shredded Japanese green onions
