JAPANESE RADISH SPROUT TOFU SOUP

The Japanese Radish Sprout Tofu Soup is a great soup. This soup is healthy, tasty and adaptable for any occasion. If you want to stay on the lighter side and serve a soup for as introduction to a great Asian dinner, this is the one.

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Boil the Dried Bonito Fish Stock ,the fresh water and add Hondashi and stir well. Then add the Carrots and the Pumpkin pieces.
  • Then season it with Mirin and with a pinch of Ground Salt and stir thoroughly.
  • Then add the Wakame Seaweed, the White Tofu, the Enokitake Mushrooms, and the Radish Sprouts.
  • Now transfer the soup and serve it hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 800 ml of Dried Bonito Fish Stock
  • 400 ml of Fresh Water
  • 2 Tablespoons of Hondashi
  • 1 Pack of Kaiware (Japanese Radish Sprout)
  • 1 Pack of Enokitake Mushrooms
  • 4 Tubes of White Tofu, sliced into small pieces
  • 100 grams of Wakame Seaweed, soaked in water to soften
  • 20 Pieces of flower-shaped Carrots
  • 20 Pieces of flower-shaped Pumpkins
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mirin
  • Ground Salt
