DUMPLING SOUP

This is another traditional and globally very popular soup, the Asian Dumpling Soup. With the choice and combinations of a variety meats and shrimps, make an impression with this very tasty and beloved soup. A party success guaranteed.

Preparation Method :

  • Start by frying the Garlic in Sesame Oil on a medium heat. Stir-fry the Chopped Duck Meat and the Shrimp, the Lotus Roots and the Japanese Green Onions.
  • Season those with Sake and Shoyu Sauce. After you cooked everything take them off the heat and place them on the side.
  • Now take the Flour Wraps to drape the contents and fold up in whatever shape you desire.
  • Repeat the same with all the remaining content until everything is wrapped into dumplings.
  • Then sprinkle a little bit of Water over the prepared Dumplings before you put them in the steamer for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Now boil the Dried Bonito Fish Stock and season it with Hondashi, with the Soybean Sauce, and with the Mirin.
  • Stir all together thoroughly and bring it all to boil again. Then remove the pan from heat.
  • Place the steamed Dumplings in a serving bowl and pour the soup mixture all over the dumplings.
  • Sprinkle the Dried Bonito Fish Flakes before serving. The delicious Soup is ready.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams of Chopped Duck Meat 
  • 100 grams of Chopped Shrimp 
  • 100 grams of Finely Chopped Lotus Roots 
  • 100 grams of Shredded Japanese Green Onions 
  • 800 ml of Dried Bonito Fish Stock 
  • 2 Packs of Dumpling Flour Wrap 
  • 4 Tablespoons of Japanese Soybean Sauce 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mirin 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Hondashi 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Dried Bonito Fish Flakes 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Shoyu Sauce 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sake 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Finely Chopped Garlic 
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sesame oil
