SHRIMP PEANUTS

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Shell the shrimp, rinse them and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and cover it with cold water and leave it undisturbed for 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the ginger, green onion, and the chopped chillies. (Cook for 30 seconds).
  • Now add the shrimp (drained) and stir-fry the shrimp for 1-2 minute or until they turn pink.
  • Gently stir in the fish sauce and vinegar followed by peanuts. Cook for another 2-4 minutes.
  • Season it with salt, pepper and lime juice.
  • Serve it hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 225 grams jumbo shrimp, shells on
  • 50 grams salted peanuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 4 red chillies (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons ginger (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
