SHIRATAKI SALAD

Serves :

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Boil the shirataki noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes; Remove and immerse in very cold water.
  • Cut up into smaller pieces with a knife, pour water out and set aside.
  • Mix lemon juice, shoyu sauce, mirin, brown sugar and set over low heat.
  • Stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add chili pepper into the mixture.
  • Pour shirataki noodles into a mixing bowl and add shrimp, carrot and avocado, followed by the salad dressing.
  • Mix well and spoon out the contents onto a plate.
  • Sprinkle with ground white sesame.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams shirataki noodles
  • 10 sweet shrimps
  • 100 grams diced avocados
  • 10 pieces flower-shaped carrots (cut with flower-shaped vegetable cutter)
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground white sesame

Salad Dressing

  • 2 red or green chili pepper, sliced
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon shoyu sauce
  • 2 tablespoon mirin
  • 2 teaspoon brown sugar
