PASTA SALAD

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Boil pasta in boiling water; add a pinch of salt and a small amount of vegetable oil. Boil for approximately 10-15 minutes.
  • To check if it is ready, spoon out one piece of pasta, place between your fingers and feel if it is soft.
  • Once fully cooked, remove and immerse in cold water. Pour onto a strainer and allow water to drip off.
  • Remove the egg shell and separate the egg white and yolk. Dice the egg white and mash the yolk then mix together in a bowl.
  • Add pasta, ham, daikon, mayonnaise and mix all the contents together.
  • Flavor with lemon juice, mirin, ground salt and pepper, and stir mixture together.
  • Scoop onto a plate laid with shiso leaves and thinly sliced lemon.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams farfalle pasta
  • 4 boiled chicken eggs
  • 6 slices smoked ham, cut into long strips
  • 1 head daikon, grated into fine strings
  • 6 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 6 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoon ground salt and pepper combination
  • Shiso leaves and thinly sliced lemon for garnishing dish
