JAPANESE TOFU SALAD

Serves :

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Slice the tofu block with a knife into two pieces. Plunge with boiling water twice and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Season salad dressing, mix Japanese vinegar, sesame oil, shoyu sauce, chopped garlic and chopped Thai chili.
  • Gently stir with a spoon to thoroughly blend the contents together.
  • Place Japanese tofu blocks onto a plate, garnish with shredded green onions, shrimp roe, and pour over with sake and mirin.
  • Serving cold will furtherly enhance the tastiness.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 piece Japanese tofu
  • 100 grams shredded Japanese green onions
  • 100 grams shrimp roe
  • 2 tablespoon sake
  • 2 tablespoon mirin

Salad Dressing

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 5 Red Thai chilli, center and seed discarded and finely chopped 
  • 100 grams shoyu sauce
  • 4 tablespoon Japanese vinegar
