JAPANESE POTATO SALAD

The Japanese Potato Salad is filling and of great taste. This salad works well as a side to a main course or as a starter.
Serves :
6

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Boil the Potatoes, the Cucumbers, and the Onions and the Carrots in boiling water and add a pinch of salt.
  • Once the Vegetables are cooked, let those cool down.
  • Take a bowl and mix the Mayonnaise, the Mirin and the Ground Pepper and mix it in with the boiled Potatoes, the Carrots, the Cucumbers and the Onions and mix it very well.
  • Take a plate and lay the lettuce. (Make sure to wash the lettuce well and thoroughly).
  • Once that is done, scoop the mixed vegetable & mayonnaise onto the plate with the lettuce.

INGREDIENTS

  • Lettuce
  • 300 grams of Diced Potatoes
  • 300 grams of Diced Carrots
  • 300 grams of Diced Japanese Cucumber
  • 1½ Large Onion, cut in thin slices
  • 1½ Tablespoons of Mirin
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ground Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ground Pepper
