SUSHI PIZZA WITH SHRIMP TOPPINGS

If you like to be creative in the kitchen, now is the time. Bringing cultures together, the Italian Pizza mixed with the Asian Sushi - The Sushi Pizza with Shrimp Toppings. Basically , a Sushi dish in a different format, mixed with Mozzarella Cheese. This particular dish will bring smiles to your party for the food and for the form.

40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Make sure to have all the Fish washed properly and thoroughly. Then start by finely chopping the Shrimps and flavor them with the Sake, the Mirin, the Honey, the Tomato Ketchup and the Ground Salt.
  • Thoroughly blend all these ingredients together in the diced Shrimps and sprinkle the Wheat Flour on the prepped Shrimps.
  • Knead the mixture until it has a texture and then let it sit for approximately 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Then place a sheet of Nori Seaweed on the bamboo mat, pick up some Sushi Rice with your hands and gently spread it over the Seaweed.
  • If the Rice sticks to your hand, lightly water your hands and just continue with the process until the Rice covers the entire Nori sheet.
  • Now place the Imitation Crab Stick on the rim of the prepared Rice Spread facing you.
  • Gently grip on the bamboo sheet and push the sheet forward in a rolling motion, pressing on the Sheet to firm the Rice Roll.
  • Use a damp knife to cut the rolled Sushi into bite size pieces. Repeat the process until the entire contents are used up.
  • Now slice the Mozzarella Cheese in thin sheets and cut it in square pieces large enough to cover over the sushi.
  • Prepare the same amount of cheese slices as the number of pieces of Sushi.
  • Now scoop approximately one tablespoon of the refrigerated Shrimp mixture prepared in the first step, and place it on the center of the Sushi Rolls.
  • Place the square slices of Cheese over the Shrimp mix and repeat the process until all the Sushi pieces have been prepped up in this manner.
  • Now place the Sushi in a conventional or microwave oven with heat set at 200 degrees Celsius (475 degrees Fahrenheit) and cook until the cheese is completely melted.
  • Now arrange on a plate and sprinkle the ready-to-serve Sushi Pizza with Ground Roasted White Sesame. Serve with Wasabi and Shoyu sauce as a dipping.

  • 800 grams of Sushi Rice
  • 30 Pieces of Sweet Shrimps
  • 20 Pieces of Imitation Crab Sticks
  • 10 Sheets of Nori Seaweed
  • 2 Packs of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sake
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mirin
  • 2 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons of Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 Teaspoons of Wheat Flour
  • ½ Teaspoon of Ground Salt
  • Ground roasted White Sesame for sprinkling
  • Wasabi and Shoyu Sauce for dipping
  • A bamboo mat for rolling Sushi
