ROASTED JAPANESE TOFU IN EARTHEN POT

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the earthen pot seasoning with fresh water and set over heat until boiled.
  • Add corn flour mixture (dissolved in water) and stir until thoroughly blended and thickened.
  • Ladle the soup mixture into the roasting pot, then add tofu, shiitake, enokitake, and maitake mushrooms, and asparagus.
  • Set over low heat until the contents reach a boiling point. Remove and sprinkle Chinese celery and shredded chili peppers.
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tube tofu, sliced
  • 2 packet earthen pot seasoning
  • 100 grams maitake mushrooms
  • 8 shiitake mushrooms
  • 8 spears of asparagus
  • 50 grams enokitake mushrooms
  • 4 tablespoon corn flour (dissolved in water)
  • 200 grams fresh water
  • Chinese celery, chopped into pieces
  • Chili peppers cut into strips for garnishing
