RICE OMELET

What an interesting dish, the Rice Omelet. This variety of combinations between Meats, Vegetables, Eggs and Rice will create a very substantial and healthy dish. Whether it will be your breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can be sure to walk away refilled and strong.

30 minutes

Cooking Time :
40 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Take a pan, add a small amount of Vegetable Oil and heat up over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped Garlic and fry until the Garlic reaches a light golden color. (do not brown the Garlic) Then place the Minced Chicken or Pork in the pan and stir-fry until the meat is fully cooked.
  • Then you add the Vegetables and following the Vegetables, you add the cooked Rice. 
  • Flavor the dish with Tomato Ketchup, with Brown Sugar, with Ground Salt and Pepper, and thoroughly blend all the ingredients.
  • Now crack the Eggs into a bowl and stir. Once the Egg White and the Yolk are well mixed together, pour it through a strainer.
  • Heat up a new pan over low heat and when warm, pour the Egg mixture in the heated pan and slowly tilt back-and-forth until the egg thinly spreads out.
  • When it's fully cooked, scoop the Fried Rice on one side of the omelet only. With a wooden spatula gently fold the unfilled side of the omelet over the rice.
  • Place a plate over the pan and flip it upside down over the plate. Now add the Tomato Ketchup or the Tonkatsu Sauce over it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Chicken Eggs, boiled
  • 400 grams cooked Japanese Rice
  • 200 grams minced Chicken or Pork Meet
  • 200 grams Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 grams shredded Japanese Green Onions
  • 100 grams diced Carrots
  • 100 grams diced Potatoes
  • 100 grams diced fresh Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 100 grams finely chopped Broccoli
  • 3 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons of finely chopped Garlic
  • ½ Teaspoon of Ground Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon of Ground Pepper
  • Cooking oil for frying
