JAPANESE CHICKEN AND EGG RICE BOWL

Preparation Method :

  • Rinse chicken, dap to dry and cut into thin bite-sized slices.
  • Slice onions thinly, shred green onions.
  • Crack eggs into a bowl, add onions and shredded Japanese green onions, followed by dried bonito fish stock, sake brown sugar, and soybean sauce, then blend the mixture together.
  • Heat pan, add a small amount of vegetable oil and spread across the entire pan.
  • Once hot, pour the eggs prepared in the previous step and evenly spread over the entire pan. Flip sides as the eggs begin to cook.
  • Place the fried eggs and chicken over hot cooked Japanese rice.
  • Garnish with shredded green onions.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams cooked Japanese rice
  • 5 pieces chicken meat
  • 6 chicken eggs
  • 2 head onion
  • 100 grams Japanese green onions
  • 10 tablespoon dried bonito fish stock
  • 4 tablespoon sake
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoon mirin
  • 5 tablespoon soybean sauce
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Shredded Japanese green onions for garnishing
