Preparation Method :
- Slice bonito or tuna fish into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix soybean sauce, sake, and mirin in a mixing bowl then place in the sliced bonito or tuna and leave to marinate for 5 minutes.
- Soak the shredded green onions in cold water.
- Scoop the cooked Japanese rice into a bowl and place the prepped pieces of fish over the rice and garnish with shredded green onions on the side.
- Sprinkle the ground white sesame and serve with wasabi and shoyu sauce.

- 300 grams cooked Japanese rice
- 2 piece bonito or tuna fish
- 4 stems Japanese green onion (shredded into long 8 cm strips)
- 3 tablespoon soybean sauce
- 2 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- Coarsely ground white sesame for sprinkling
- Wasabi and shoyu sauce for dipping
