ITALIAN GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICHES

Preparation Method :

  • Prepare the marinade by combining all the ingredients and coat the chicken breast with the marinade. Keep it in refrigerator for an hour for marination.
  • Grill the chicken (4-5 minutes approximately) on each side until chicken is tender or juices are clear when cut with the tip of a knife.
  • Spread mayonnaise equally on 2 slices of bread.
  • Place a slice of cheese and then arrange the grilled chicken breasts, add a layer of bell pepper. Add another slice of cheese on top of it.
  • Place another slice of bread to cover. Drizzle olive oil on top. Invert and place it on the grill and sprinkle olive oil on other side.
  • Now grill it for 5 minutes until the cheese melts and grill marks appear on bread (turn it once). serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 fresh mozzarella cheese slices
  • 1 red bell pepper (roasted, skin removed and sliced)
  • 4 slices Italian bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Cooking oil

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
