Preparation Method :
- Scrape out the chili seeds with knife. Rinse the pods to remove any remaining seeds.
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add the chopped garlic and chili and fry until the garlic is lightly browned.
- Stir in the Cleaned shrimps and squid, reduce the heat to low and cover. Simmer for atleast 20 minutes, stir it occasionally.
- Pour the wine and simmer for further 20 minutes. Stir in the tomato puree, water and salt, bring it to boil.
- Stir the cod and haddock pieces, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.
- Meanwhile, rub the toasted bread slices with the garlic halves and then arrange a slice on the bottom of individual soup bowls.
- Pour over the hot stew, sprinkle it with pimiento and serve.

- 150 ml Cooking oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- Red chili
- 250 grams shelled shrimps
- 250 grams squid
- 125 ml dry white wine
- 3 tablespoon tomato puree
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 250 grams cod fillet, (cut into pieces)
- 250 grams haddock,( cut into pieces)
- 6 slices toasted Italian or French bread,
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 2 tablespoon chopped pimiento
