DUCK BREASTS WITH BALSAMIC VINEGAR

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the duck breasts, skin side down, and cook over a moderate heat for 5 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat and cook for another 10 minutes. Drain the excess oil from the duck skin.
  • Turn the duck breasts over and add the balsamic vinegar along with the cranberries and sugar.
  • Season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes more.
  • Serve the cooked duck breasts with the sauce spooned over.
  • The cranberries will have broken down and made a delicious sauce with the vinegar and juices from the duck.
  • The duck breasts should remain pink and juicy in the middle.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 8 boneless duck breasts
  • 8 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 300 grams cranberries
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper
