COUNTRY CHICKEN

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Start by melting the Butter with the Olive Oil in a frying pan.
  • When it's hot, add the Chicken Breasts and cook them on each side for about 5 minutes. Let them brown to add some flavor to the sauce.
  • Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Now add the Onion, the Celery, the Garlic and the Chillis to the pan and sauté all of it for 5 minutes.
  • Then add the Passata, the Bay Leaves and the Thyme. Season all of it with Salt and Pepper and stir well.
  • Now take the Chicken Breasts and put them back in the sauce and let all of it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add the Oregano just before serving.
  • Simply wake up your taste buds. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams of Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons of Cooking oil
  • 6 Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 1 Chopped small head of Celery
  • 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
  • ¾ Teaspoon of crushed dried Chillis
  • 400 grams of Passata
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Thyme
  • A handful of chopped Oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
