ALMOND BRITTLE

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Put the almonds on a broiler pan and place under a preheated broiler until lightly brown.
  • Let cool a little, and then roughly chop.
  • Heat a nonstick frying pan over a moderate heat. Add the sugar and let it melt into caramel.
  • Take care that the heat is not too high or the caramel will burn and have a very bitter taste.
  • Add the almonds and mix in, then pour the almond brittle into the prepared baking tray.
  • Leave the almond brittle to cool, and then break it into small pieces.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams blanched almonds
  • 400 grams sugar
