Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a wok or pan, sauté cumin and fenugreek seeds. When they start spluttering, add tomatoes and green chillies. Fry for a minute or two.
- Add all the spices and sugar. Cook covered for 5 minutes or until the tomato slices lose their shape.
- Add the garlic paste and stir-fry at least for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Green tomatoes, cut into big pieces
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
- 2-3 Green chillies, slit
- ¾ teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon Coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon Dried mango powder
- A pinch of sugar
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
