Preparation Method :
- Peel and cut only 2 radish, into thin slices.
- Heat oil, reduce flame. Add carom seeds, Fry till golden brown.
- Add chopped onion and ginger,stir till onions turn transparent.
- Reduce flame and add red chilli, turmeric, amchur, green chilli with salt, mix it well for about 2-3 minutes.
- Now add chopped radish greens and radish pieces, sauté for at least 3 minutes.
- Add sugar and garam masala. Cover and cook on low flame till radish turns tender.
- Adjust seasoning and Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium sized radish with green tops
- ¾ teaspoon carom seeds (omum)
- 2 onions - finely chopped
- 1" piece ginger - finely chopped
- 1 green chilli - deseeded and chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¾ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon amchur
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 4 tablespoon Cooking oil
