Preparation Method :
- Chop the vegetable into medium small pieces.
- Cook the vegetable in the pressure-pan with salt and water. If possible release before the first whistle.
- Heat oil in a pan. Roast the mustard seeds. Add the curry leaves and the vegetables.
- Add chilly powder rice flour and hing powder and stir over fire for five minutes.
- Taste and add jaggery and more salt if required.
- Serve hot with rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg bitter gourd
- 2 tablespoon rice flour
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon asafetida
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- A few curry leaves
- 2 teaspoon Jaggery
- 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
