MIXED VEGETABLE STIR FRY

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok or pan and when hot, add the garlic-ginger slices and stir-fry for a minute.
  •  Add the broccoli florets to the wok, stir-fry for a minute or two, then add the vegetables and stir-fry for a further 5 minutes or until tender but still crisp.
  • Pour the sauce mixture into the wok. Transfer the vegetables to a warmed serving dish.
  • Garnish with shredded spring onions and serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 grams mangetout, trimmed
  • 100 grams carrots, peeled and cut into thin batons
  • 1 green pepper, deseeded and cut into strips
  • 100 grams broccoli florets
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 3-5 garlic cloves, peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 inch piece fresh root ginger, peeled and finely sliced
  • 4 spring onions, trimmed and shredded, to garnish

Sauce Mixture (Blend)

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
