MILI HUWI SUBZEE

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a heavy saucepan. Add onion and mustard seeds along with the curry leaves, and lower the heat a little.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, spices, garlic, salt and fresh coriander. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the potatoes and cauliflower ,continue to stir-fry for a further 2-3 minutes.
  • Cover and simmer until the potatoes are cooked, add a little water if needed . Stir in the fresh cream and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 75 ml sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon mixed onion and mustard seeds 
  • 3 curry leaves 
  • 450 grams can chopped tomatoes 
  • 1 teaspoon diced and crushed ginger root
  • ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander 
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
  • 100 grams potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 100 grams cauliflower florets 
  • 4 tablespoons fresh single cream
