Preparation Method :
- Blend the cornmeal to a paste with 100ml water.
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and saute for 3 minutes, or until translucent.
- Add the ginger, garlic and chillies and stir-fry briefly. Stir in the chilli powder and mustard, spinach leaves. Add 100ml water and cook on a medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the blended cornmeal and cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Cool the mixture slightly and blend to a coarse paste. Reheat, stir well and serve.

- 4 tablespoons cornmeal
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 medium-sized onions, chopped
- 5cm piece root ginger, chopped
- 10 garlic cloves, chopped
- 10 green chillies, chopped
- 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 kg mustard greens, roughly chopped
- 200 grams spinach, roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
