Preparation Method :
- Fry paneer cubes to a golden colour.
- Heat mustard oil to smoking point. Remove from fire and add asafetida.
- Drain and squeeze the soaked methi and add to the oil. Return to fire. Stir fry on low flame for 4-5 minutes
- Add salt, sugar, turmeric and chilli powder, saute for a few seconds.
- Add milk and boil for 3 minutes. Finally add fried paneer, cook covered till milk is almost dry.
INGREDIENTS
- 1½ tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves(kasoori methi)
- 3 tablespoon mustard oil
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 200 ml milk
- 200 grams, paneer- cut in tiny cubes
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder.
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
